VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES

Thank you for your interest in becoming a South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee Volunteer. Please read the guidelines below before completing this application.

Confidentiality Notice: The material in this application is intended only for the use of processing your volunteer application by the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee. It is hereby understood that the information you have provided is confidential, privileged, and exempt from disclosure under applicable law.

 

  • Volunteers must complete the official Super Bowl Host Committee volunteer application.
  • Each applicant must complete a volunteer release, and waiver of liability and indemnification agreement.
  • Each volunteer will undergo a mandatory background check for security reasons.
  • All volunteers must be 18 years of age by November of 2006. A driver's license or state identification may be used as proof.
  • Volunteers must be available to work a minimum of two, four-hour shifts.
  • Volunteers must attend one training session specific to their selected volunteer assignment and the general pep rally. Training will take place in the evening and on weekends.
  • No game tickets will be made available to volunteers.
  • No volunteer opportunities available in Dolphin Stadium on game day
  • Volunteers must provide their own transportation to their assigned location.
  • Volunteer opportunities will be provided on an equal basis without regard to age, sex, race, religion or disabilities.

            AMBASSADOR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES DURING    

                            THE WEEK OF SUPER BOWL XLI

  • Please allow time for travel and parking so that you may arrive to check in ONE HOUR prior to your scheduled shift.
  • The official uniform should be worn during all shifts.
  • You must carry a photo ID with you at all times as well as wear your Super Bowl Host Committee ID
  • Be sure to call the Volunteer Hotline, 305-614-7556, if unable to work your scheduled shift due to an illness or emergency.
  • Be prepared for questions and provide accurate information.
  • Clothing, bags or materials with advertisements or commercial messages are not permitted.
  • Please refrain from using your cell phone while on assignment unless you are checking in with your captain or for emergency purposes.
  • The use of gum and/or tobacco is not permitted while on duty.
  • Do not eat or drink while on duty.  Breaks will be provided.
  • Alcohol consumption while on duty or while wearing the official volunteer uniform is prohibited.
  • Please do not ask for autographs while on assignment or in uniform.
  • Volunteers are prohibited from accepting tips.
  • Volunteers should avoid any involvement with ticket sales, exchanges and/or transactions
  • There are no secured storage areas for belongings.  Please bring only what is needed.
