SOUTH FLORIDA SUPER BOWL XLI HOST COMMITTEE
LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN

Dear Visitors;

On behalf of the entire South Florida community, it is with great pride that we welcome you to Super Bowl XLI. Our rich history and tradition of serving as hosts to eight previous Super Bowls has allowed us to perfect the experience for visitors, media and teams. The Host Committee is pleased to share the wealth of culture, activities and festivities planned during this week-long celebration.

Super Bowl XXXIII was held on January 31, 1999 since that time South Florida has continued to grow. We are thrilled to play host to the world’s finest sporting event and are ready to accept the challenge. Super Bowl XLI brings a world-wide spotlight to the region and is a tremendous stage to showcase our local attractions and activities.  South Florida is truly the gateway to the Americas and features restaurants second to none.  The entire South Florida region is home to some of the most highly regarded hotel chains in the world and is ready for your visit year-round.  We welcome you to South Florida and hope you take pleasure in the beauty of our beaches, world-class golf courses, delicious cuisine, colorful couture, charming culture and magnificent weather.

Our South Florida Super Bowl XLI Host Committee is comprised of a collection of talented community leaders whose efforts are the most comprehensive to date. This year for the first time we are supported by four counties encompassing: Miami-Dade (Greater Miami), Broward (Greater Fort Lauderdale), Palm Beach (Boca Raton and West Palm Beach) and Monroe (Key Largo and Key West). The synergy created by these four counties incorporates the rich culture and ethnic diversity that is the symbol of South Florida.

Our team is dedicated to providing you, our visiting guest with an once-in-a-lifetime experience that surpasses all expectations. We intend for all guests to leave with a taste of our region that genuinely offers something for everyone. There are several activities that surround Super Bowl XLI that demonstrate what South Florida has to offer everyone and will encompass football, culture, community, youth groups and will build upon our rich Super Bowl history.

As Chairman of the South Florida Super Bowl XLI Host Committee, I am confident that your time here in South Florida will be an experience of a lifetime!  I know that your Super Bowl experience will be cherished for years to come and something we hope you will share with others.  I invite you to return to South Florida for business or pleasure and we look forward to seeing you in 2010 for Super Bowl XLIV.
